ST. MICHAEL’S FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM

Our vision is to have everyone in our parish know and love the Holy Trinity, and share this love with others in the community.  Our mission is to make followers and imitators of Jesus.  We will search for works of love to put into action.  We will  look to do this everyday, all day long.

Our “Children’s Liturgy of the Word” takes place during the school year, for children ages 2-6.  During the 10:15 mass, our little ones are escorted out of the church and into a classroom where they learn a Gospel lesson.  They return back to their parents before Communion.

Grades 1-5 meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:00.  Grades 6-10 meet monthly on Sundays from 11:30-1:00.

First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion typically occur in the second grade.  Confirmation takes place in the 10th grade.  

Each grade has a textbook with an age appropriate curriculum.  In addition, all grades receive a Gospel lesson of the week.  

Finally, we are striving to have our children active in service for the community.  It is our goal that the kids know the importance of helping those in need.  Our wish is that, like Jesus, our children go out to live their lives helping others.
