Bereavement Ministry at St. Michael the Archangel supports families after the loss of a loved one, assists with funeral planning, memorial services, cards, calls, and follow-up support. For more information contact Mary Rose Ryan
Card Ministry at St. Michael the Archangel sends donated cards to parishioners who are ill or homebound. For more information contact the Parish Office
Lazarus Ministry — St. Jude the Apostle
The Lazarus Ministry accompanies families with compassion and care as they mourn the loss of a loved one and prepare to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial or a memorial Mass. Trained ministers meet with families to help select appropriate Scripture readings and music in accordance with diocesan guidelines and assist with the preparation of the funeral liturgy.
Lazarus Ministers also serve during funeral Masses as needed, including as cross and candle bearers, lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and gift bearers. Their quiet and prayerful presence helps ensure that every family is supported and that each funeral is celebrated with dignity, reverence, and the hope we have in Christ.
Members of the Rosary Altar Society may also provide an Honor Guard at the funeral of a fellow Rosarian.

Living with Loss Support Group is a peer-to-peer group who meets the third Thursday of each month at 3 pm in the St. Jude the Apostle Parish Office. Anyone who is having difficulty dealing with any loss, but especially the loss of a loved one is encouraged to attend-no one should face this life event alone.
