Our Mission The mission of the Church is to "go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19-20). Parish communications are one way we invite people to encounter Christ, grow in faith, and become active participants in the life of the Church. The bulletin, website, social media, email, and other communication channels serving the parish families of St. Jude the Apostle and St. Michael the Archangel are more than places to share announcements. They are tools for evangelization, helping people encounter Christ, deepen their faith, and become engaged in the life of our parish communities as we work together in one shared mission of making disciples. Every announcement, ministry opportunity, event, or story is an opportunity to inspire faith, encourage participation, and invite others to grow closer to Christ. Whether promoting worship, service, formation, fellowship, or outreach, each communication should help people take another step in their journey of discipleship. As you complete this request, we encourage you to think beyond simply sharing information. Consider how your submission helps build up our parish communities and supports our shared mission of proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples. Before You Submit To help us communicate your message effectively and make the best use of our parish communication channels, please submit requests at least two weeks before your desired publication or event date. Earlier submissions are always appreciated and may allow for additional promotion opportunities. One submission is sufficient for an announcement that needs to run for multiple weeks. Please indicate the requested start and end dates on the form. Recurring announcements may be edited, resized, reformatted, or refreshed from week to week to help keep the message noticeable and effective. You may indicate a preferred communication channel on the form. Preferences will be considered; however, not everyone receives parish information in the same way. Depending on the audience and purpose of the message, another communication channel may help the information reach people who otherwise might not see it. Submitted content may be edited for clarity, length, consistency, formatting, and suitability for the communication channel. Please note that submission of a communication request does not guarantee publication on a specific date or through a specific communication channel. Requests are reviewed based on timing, available space, audience, relevance, and alignment with the mission and communication priorities of our parish communities.
